The Distribution & Client Service Division serves the needs of our clients in both the institutional and retail markets. Our objective is to provide first class service to our clients, working in partnership to meet their individual requirements. Given the differing needs of our key markets, two separate teams have been established, specialising in the institutional and retail sectors.

The Division is involved in all aspects of our relationships with individual clients, ranging from initial contact, through to meetings with our fund managers, portfolio transition and implementation, and ongoing reporting. The Distribution & Client Service Division works closely with our Investment and Operations Divisions in meeting our clients’ requirements.

Retail

This part of our business is overseen by Mark Thomas, Managing Director, Retail.  Mark is responsible for developing and implementing the business plan for R&M’s activities in this market. Our Retail clients include multi-managers, private wealth managers, banks and insurance companies.

Institutional

The Institutional team is led by James Barham and Nick Slater. Our institutional clients include some of the UK’s largest pension funds, charities, manager-of-managers providers and other corporate bodies. Within the occupational pensions market, we serve both the DB and DC markets, the latter both directly and via relationships with the leading investment platform providers. Our institutional team is also responsible for the firm’s relationships with investment consultants, ensuring consultants are kept updated on key developments at R&M in addition to performance, portfolio holdings and other portfolio specific information.
We look to work in partnership with our clients in order to agree a level of service and reporting that meets their needs as far as practicable.
